Decoupage
Boxes
Ages
8 and up. Takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and overnight to dry.
What
you need:
Newspaper
(to cover work area)
1 paper
mache box 3" size
Patterned
tissue paper or wrapping paper in desired colour scheme
Modge
Podge or white glue watered down to the ratio of 3 parts glue to 1 part
water
Paint
brush
What
to do:

1. Put newspaper
on a flat work surface to protect it from getting sticky.

2. Tear tissue
paper into small pieces (between 1/2 and 1 square inch). Remove lid from
paper mache box.

3. Using
the paint brush, coat an area on the box a little bigger than the size
of one square of tissue. Place tissue on the Modge Podge coated area and
rub gently to secure.

4. Place
a coat of Modge Podge over tissue.

5. Repeat
steps 3 and 4 until the entire box is covered, then start on the lid.

6. Let both
the box and lid dry overnight before using.
