It was a dark and stormy day. Dark because there was an eclipse of the sun. When the sky suddenly went dark, Bozo the ape went berserk. He had never seen an eclipse before. When the sun came back out Bozo did the most amazing thing.
He picked up an antelope bone and hurled it upward, toward the sun, with all his might. He was such a strong ape, and so infuriated, that the bone soared right out of the atmosphere and into orbit, where it turned into a space ship.
The space ship plummeted to earth, and crashed right into Bozo's enclosure. Fortunately, it was still bone size. Unfortunately, it was inhabited.
A clown of tiny sizes climbed out of the ship, yelling incoherent messages at Bozo. Bozo thought the clown wanted a banana.
So he gave him the jellied salad left over from dinner, with many fruits, including a banana, in it. The sticky, red jelly oozed all over the space-clown, which seemed to please him, because the next thing Bozo knew, tiny-space-clown had decided to set up a colony with Bozo, where they would eat and play with jellied salad for the rest of their days.
