One day, Calumon was hopping along, being really happy, when he met a chao. "Hi, what's your name?" Calumon asked.
The chao just looked at him quizzically, and hopped away. Calumon thought this rather rude, and chased after him. Before long, the two of them reached the edge of the Virtual World, and, before he could stop himself, Calumon found himself tumbling over, into the void.
The void turned out to be a deep well filled with molasses. So Calumon got very sticky. But he managed to climb out of the well. He was so sticky and smelled so good that a swarm of bees descended upon him.
In his haste to escape, Calumon didn't realize that he was running straight into a basket of goose feathers. Well, we all know what happens when feathers meet thick, sticky molasses -- In the blink of an eye, Calumon became a downy apparition with only his eyes left uncovered.
Just then, Impmon came along. When he saw the feathers, his first thought was, "Aah! A big nasty chicken!" When he realized it was Calumon, he took Calumon home with him and got him washed up. All the feathers came off in the tub, and Calumon had no more molasses stuck on him. Then the Chao came in and said its name was Beebo.
