... the clan had neglected to perform the Dance of Clement Weather at their recent Sunday gathering. Now, all they could do was to huddle together in misery, awaiting an opportunity to perform the Dance of Contrition and Second Chances.

This chance came in the form of two horse-drawn carriages coming down the road, followed by a buffalo, three deer, an antelope, two jackasses, several thousand termites, and a whale with an overactive imagination. The carriages themselves, however, had nothing to do with anything.

Well, it's something that can't really be done justice with words, but suffice it to say that all Hell quite literally broke loose. However, in the moments that the Devil and his harbingers were distracted by the tasty-looking wheel-donut, the animals vanquished them, being, surprisingly, exactly the group necessary in order to do so. And so the rain cleared up, and Numfar led in the Dance of Victory.
