Rich Idiot

by David Dewar, Mary Lou Dewar, Bob Dewar, Jeff Dewar and Alan Dewar

Once upon a dime, an idiot yelled, "I'm rich! I'm rich!" This was true, but it had nothing to do with the dime, which fell into the sewers and mutated into a quarter.

You see, the quarter was very very rare -- from the 14th century. Its value was actually $1.4 trillion. So he really was rich, but didn't realize it.

"He" was the sewerman who came across the quarter -- but let's get back to the idiot. When he got home, he yelled, "Hi, honey, I'm home!" and then remembered he hadn't been married for 6 trillion years, or something like that. He lost count at about 5 hundred...

This was as high as he could count, so he just kept counting up to it over and over, for no particularly good reason. That's probably why he wasn't married any more -- the counting drove people crazy. Anyway, he suddenly remembered that his name was Richard, and everything made sense (except for the guy in the sewer).
